Blues Scale Patterns for Guitar

The Blues Scale

There are five two note per string patterns for the blues scale. This scale adds one note to the minor pentatonic scale, so if you have learned the patterns for minor pentatonic, the blues scale patterns should be easy. Roots for each scale are shown as red dots on the fretboard diagrams. The blue notes are shown as blue dots. The scale shown in tablature is the A minor blues scale.
